Made To Measure murals are designed specifically for each space. Rather than simply scaling existing artwork, we recompose each design to suit the architecture, proportions, and flow of the room.

We then develop multiple layout options for client review, exploring different scales, compositions, and ways the artwork can move through the space.

This process allows each project to be thoughtfully tailored, resulting in a mural that feels truly unique to its environment.

Our Made To Measure murals are custom designed for each space and priced by the square foot.

Available exclusively to the trade, each project begins with detailed wall dimensions, elevations, or hand drawings, along with the location of any doors, windows, built-ins, or other architectural features that may affect the layout.

This allows us to thoughtfully tailor the design to the space and prepare pricing for your specific project.

Typical lead times run 4–8 weeks, depending on the scope of the project and timing of approvals.

Smooth Matte Type II
Our most durable wallcovering. This non-woven, PVC-free, Type II, Class A rated material has a smooth matte finish and is breathable, making it an excellent choice for high-humidity spaces such as bathrooms.

Raw Texture
A PVC-free wallcovering with a beautiful texture reminiscent of handmade paper. It adds depth and refinement without overpowering the design, and installs easily with panels that seam together beautifully. For high-humidity spaces such as bathrooms and powder rooms, Smooth Matte Type II is the recommended option.

Mica
A shimmering wallcovering that brings softness, depth, and understated luxury to a space. Its luminous finish reflects light beautifully while remaining more subtle and refined than a high-gloss material.

White Mylar
A bold, high-gloss wallcovering with a striking, reflective finish. It can be printed with a combination of matte and gloss inks to create contrast, texture, and dimension, allowing areas of shine and softness to work together across the design for added depth and visual impact.

Installation Information

• Professional installation is strongly recommended
  
• Install using a paste-the-wall method
  
• Use a pre-mixed. heavy-duty, clear wallpaper adhesive, such as Roman Pro-870
  
• Murals are typically printed in 53” wide panels
  
• Panels must be installed in sequential order
  
• Each panel includes a 2” overlap that should be double-cut for a seamless finish
  
• Because each mural is custom designed for its specific space, starting points, panel breaks, and layout details are determined on a project-by-project basis
  
• A custom installation guide is provided with each made-to-measure mural and must be followed exactly during installation
  

Need a custom color or other project-specific adjustments?

We offer color customization of our Made To Measure murals for a $500 design fee. This includes a digital proof for review and revision, followed by a printed strike-off for final color approval before production.

Because each Made To Measure mural is custom designed for the specific project, we do not accept returns or exchanges.

We work closely with each client throughout the design process to review dimensions, color specifications, and final layout approvals before production begins. Due to the custom nature of these orders, all sales are final. If your order arrives damaged, it will be promptly replaced.

Professional installation is always recommended.   

• Multiple quantities are printed on a continuous roll. Material is shipped untrimmed. 
• Color may vary from changing paper lots. We cannot guarantee an exact match if additional panels are ordered at a later date as paper lots may have changed.  
• Darker wallcoverings require specific prepwork for proper installation. 
• Accurate wall measurements are the customer’s responsibility.
• BCS is not responsible for any labor costs for prep or installation at any time.
